Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 30, 2026

Truebe is a product of Foodbe LLC ("we," "us"). This policy explains what data the Truebe WordPress plugin and the truebe.io website handle, and what we do and do not collect.

The short version

The Truebe plugin runs on your own WordPress server. Your documents, your questions, and your approved answers stay in your own WordPress database. We do not collect, store, or have access to them.

Data the plugin sends to your AI provider

You connect the plugin to your own account with an AI provider (OpenAI or Anthropic) using your own API key. When you upload a document, its text is sent to that provider, under your key, so it can draft question-and-answer pairs. This happens only during document processing. No data is sent to the AI provider when a visitor asks a question. The provider's handling of that data is governed by its own terms and privacy policy.

Data the plugin sends to truebe.io

If you connect a Truebe account, the plugin contacts truebe.io in three cases:

No document text, questions, answers, or visitor data is ever sent to truebe.io. We use the site URL and token only to manage your account and verify your subscription.

What we do not collect

We do not collect your uploaded documents, your fact library, your visitors' questions, or your visitors' personal information. We do not sell data. We do not use your data to train AI models.

The truebe.io website

If you contact us through a form on truebe.io, we receive the information you submit (such as your name, email, and message) so we can respond. We use it only for that purpose.

Your responsibility

You control what you upload and approve. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to process the documents you upload, and for complying with any privacy laws that apply to your business and your visitors.

Changes

We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the "last updated" date above.
